Women's Diagnostic Center
The Women’s Diagnostic Center, which opened in February 1985, is accredited by both the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the FDA. The first of its kind in the CSRA, the WDC continues to offer women an intimate, private facility where you will be treated promptly, courteously and professionally.
The center offers mammograms, bone densitometry, ultrasound and ultrasound-guided biopsies. Stereotactic biopsies are performed in the hospital. All mammograms and examinations are performed by certified mammographers registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). A radiologist interprets the results then sends a report directly to the patient's physician.
At the time of your appointment, please be sure to bring your insurance card, a picture I.D. and any copay due.
